PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

Part time post - Salary negotiable (Commensurate with qualifications and experience)

Francis House provides a home from home where families receive professional care, support and friendship at a very difficult time. We are open to families who have children who have life threatening conditions. We are about to embark on an exciting new building project which will double our accommodation.

The Press and PR Officer has a vital role in helping to increase our profile to help us achieve all of our goals. The post holder will report directly to the Chief Executive, demonstrating the importance that we place on the success of the post.

The ideal candidate will have experience in using various traditional and social media channels and the ability to research new developments in the sector. They will have the drive and enthusiasm to stay on top of the latest trends and opportunities and the ability to write engaging press releases.

The successful application will work closely with our Fundraising team and with the many volunteers around the North West, to provide effective PR support through all available media including relevant print outlets, national, local and regional TV, radio and online media through relevant websites and networks.
